Throughout the world many people have given their lives for national liberation and socialism against imperialism and colonialism.   The red flag is our testament to them.

Many people know that the north Korean people, under the wise guidance of Great Leader Comrade
Kim Il Sung and now Supreme Commander Comrade Kim Jong Il are building a powerful socialist system that resists imperialism.  Unfortunately, many people are unaware that many south Korean people also love TO fight imperialism, and want the reunification of the nation and hold the leadership of the north in high esteem during the anti-US struggle for National Salvation.

The Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front (AINDF)  is the south Korean vanguard of Kimilsungist fighters, and I am proud and honored to be the Chairman of the US Solidarity Committee to Support the AINDF and the South Korean People's Struggle.  When I was recently in Pyongyang I was able to sit down with them a couple of times to assess the world situation, the local situation and the history of the south Korean people's love for
Kim Il Sung and hatred of US imperialist occupation.

From the days of the Revolutionary Party of Reunification to the National Democratic Front of South Korea to today's AINDF, they have been a strong and militant, if clandestine, force shaping the south Korean people's progressive struggle repeatedly fighting one US-installed fascist dictatorship after another and offering the sweet blood of martyrdom to the Korean nation.

The imperialist press likes to describe south Korea as a "democracy" and US occupation as something benevolently accepted by the south Korean people as if the real contradiction were the fellow countrymen in the north.  In fact, the opposite is true.

The Republic of Korea (ROK) enforces strict "anti-Communist" and anti-patriotic laws to prevent the dissemination of revolutionary views or commentary that is even remotely favorable or reconciliatory towards the north and yet despite this is repeatedly rocked by patriotic riots against these country-sellers tolerating American occupation of the land.

Whole swarms of people came out by the hundreds of thousands and even millions to condemn the US imperialists and their GI mercenary goons when they murdered two Korean school girls with tanks a few of years ago. Trade Unions fight for better rights for workers, and students resist the use of south Korean cannon fodder to occupy the Iraqi people.

Koreans of all faiths, including Buddhists and Christians (disproving imperialist lies that Korean leftists are against religious protection), seek the reunification of Korea and before the June 15th, 2001 accords, many illegally visited he DPRK and met with President
Kim Il Sung or Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il as a matter of principle.  Some returned home to find themselves harmed and imprisoned.

The AINDF are committed to the Juche idea and Songun policy, and have acted as a conduit between westerners supportive of the DPRK and the DPRK people and regime by providing valuable literature and solidarity.  They are also at the forefront of south Korean anti-US National Salvation and reunification struggle.

Going back to the days of the anti-Apartheid struggles they developedclose ties to the Black Panther Party and other US forces working for socialism and anti-imperialism.  They have made statements supporting the resistance in Iraq and Palestine and call for a world of unity and independence where each people creatively build the revolution according to their unique culture, history and material conditions. Furthermore, they have worked to solidify ties to the various Juche and Songun groups around the world and progressive parties, organizations and personages.  We can then say they are both good patriots and internationalists, as the Juche idea demands.

As imperialism, namely US imperialism and various dominationist forces collaborate in an anti-Korean conspiracy, we need to break the encirclement around the DPRK most fiercely while also supporting the anti-US struggle of the south Korean people led by the AINDF.

As Chairman of the US Solidarity Committee to Support the AINDF and Songun Politics Study Group (USA), I would like to ask for the support of the various progressive forces within the US imperialist epicenter and around the world in supporting the AINDF and the south Korean people's struggle because US imperialism is the enemy of us all.
